Our Corporate philosophy


Total Power Services Ltd recognises its responsibilities to attain and maintain a high standard of corporate governance, ensuring that the company acts in an ethical, moral and legal manner at all times.

This high standard is achieved through the actions of the board as a whole and that of the individual directors. The directors understand their obligations to provide a duty of care to the company shareholders and stakeholders alike.

The directors honesty, integrity, sound judgment, common sense, and individual skills are integral to ensure sound corporate governance around the board table, and to the long term success of the company.

Total Power Services Ltd is committed to ensuring that these characteristics are widely represented around the board table, and that while regulatory and legal process cannot be denied the core values remain the primary drivers to our governance responsibilities.

It is also expected that these core values will also be reflected in our management team.

The shareholders of Total Power Services Ltd appointed the Board of Directors and have therefore placed the responsibilities of governance in the hands of Murray Popenhagen, Ian Boud, and David Evans.

The directors have been appointed for an initial term of 2 years.

The board is joined by Ross Beal in his capacity as General Manager.

Environmental Philosophy


Total Power Services Ltd recognises the importance of environmental responsibility, as such the company is committed to being an industry leader in environmental management, we believe this has a big part to play in Total Power Services Ltd long term success.

Our environmental responsibility includes but is not limited to:

  • Waste Reduction: by evaluating our current work practices to ensure that we remain as efficient as possible.

  • Recycling: commit to recovery, recycling, and scrapping of all suitable waste materials ahead of disposal in land fill.

  • Resource Management: identify, implement and promote incentives to improve the efficient use of resources including energy efficiency, fuel reduction initiatives, and water conservation.

  • Staff Involvement: by ensuring that our environmental policy is communicated to all our employees, and stake holders, that training is made available to all staff to raise awareness of environmental impact and enlist their support in improving and maintaining the company's environmental performance.

  • Supplier & Contractor involvement: by seeking assurance that our suppliers, and subcontractors have an understanding of their individual impact on the environment. Total Power Services Ltd will show a preference to entering supplier agreements with companies that have the same environmental philosophies.

  • Long Term Sustainability: Total Power Services Ltd will work with its business partners, suppliers, and other industry leaders to ensure an ongoing objective of achieving environmental best practice.

  • Legislative: Total Power Services Ltd is aware of its obligations under the Resource Management Act 1991 and aims at all times to ensure full compliance with these provisions.
